This hottie is already a phenomon in Spain and has already brought her sexiness to the States. Some you may recognize her from “Snakes On A Plane” (All 5 of you that watched that movie). Elsa Pataky is a Spanish actress.  Pataky was born as Elsa Lafuente Medianu in Madrid, Spain, the daughter of Cristina Pataky, a publicist with Romanian-Hungarian ancestry, and José Francisco, a chemistElsa Pataky’s success in her home country of Spain is bordering on a phenomenon with roles in over eighteen films, three television series national endorsements and celebrity appearances. Her title role in NINETTE helmed by Oscar winner José Luis Garci, brought her unanimous critical acclaim and firmly established Elsa as a much sought after leading lady.

Elsa attended the University of San Pablo where she studied Journalism during her free time, Elsa enrolled in acting classes to pursue her dream to become an actress.She was also a member of the Madrid theatre company, Teatro Cámara de Ángel Gutiérrez. Eventually she left school in the last year, when she was cast in the television series «Al salir de clase» the series was a success and with it, launched Elsa in the Spanish market.

Elsa’s first film, El arte de morir, was a box office hit in Spain. She went on to work consistently in a wide range of films and genres from comedy, action drama and thriller. Each film brought her challenges of language such as her co-staring role in the French box office hit IZNOGOOD (2005) and her recent co-staring role in MANUALES D’AMORE 2 (2007) which had the second biggest office opening weekend ever in Italy.

Upcoming films include the comic-action movie SANTOS, directed by Nicolás López (Promedio Rojo) and MANCORA, directed by Ricardo de Montreuil (La mujer de mi hermano). Elsa most recently wrapped another French movie, SKATE OR DIE, directed by Miguel Courtois (Gal, El Lobo). Elsa speaks five languages (Spanish, French, English, Italian and Romanian).

In 2006, Elsa launched her U.S career in a supporting role in the New Line Cinema film SNAKES ON A PLANE starring Samuel L. Jackson and directed by David Ellis, she finished last summer GIALLO, directed by Dario Argento and staring Adrien Brody and is filming GIVE’EM HELL MALONE, directed by Russell Mulcahy. Consistent with her strong international appeal.
