The Game has mentioned several time during his promotion for his anticipated new album “L.A.X.” that he plans to retire from the music game. The Compton MC addressed that he is not happy with the current state of Hip-Hop.

The Game wants to spend more time with his family.

“I’ve missed a lot more of my family than I have rap in recent years and it’s time to address the balance,” he recently told WENN. “I’m focused on the upbringing of my children. That’s important to me.”

Game made it clear that he won’t return once he made the decision to retire.

“Jay-Z came out of retirement. I can’t see that happening for me,” Game said.

Just recently, an insider from Ice Cube´s camp revealed that The Game will maybe replace Mack 10 to become a member of Westside Connection.

The Game´s upcoming album “L.A.X.” will be in stores August 26.
