Lee, Hu Visit Seoul Forest

Chinese President Hu Jintao visited Seoul Forest park on his second day in Seoul Tuesday.
Accompanied by President Lee Myung-bak, the Chinese leader met with 250 Korean and Chinese student representatives.
Lee remarked that youth exchanges between two countries would
contribute to future bilateral relations. He emphasized the importance
of Korea’s political and social relationships with China.
Hu said, as a result of the summit, the two sides would be able to
expand cooperation. The two leaders planted a pine tree together with
the students.
Afterwards, Hu met with Prime Minister Han Seung-soo and discussed
energy cooperation. Then, in a meeting with National Assembly Speaker
Kim Hyung-O, he discussed ways of promoting bilateral relations between
the two nations.
The Chinese leader left for Tajikistan on Tuesday afternoon, the second
leg of his three-nation tour, which will also take him to Turkmenistan.
