In an interview with Nelson Canlas of GMA News during a presscon for a spa company, which both stars have signed up to endorse, Kapamilya hunk Piolo Pascual talked about his experience in working with Kapuso princess Marian Rivera.
“Mabait siya, nakakatuwa siya. She’s very funny and masarap siya ka-work kasi napaka-sexy at saka alam mo talagang ‘Wow!’ Mapapatulala ka ‘pag nakita mo siya,” said Piolo.
Since Piolo was once cast as a merman early in his acting career, what would the matinee idol’s advice be to Marian, who is now riding the waves of the massive popularity of her latest project Dyesebel where she gets to play the famous Pinay mermaid?
“I think she’s graceful enough naman to be a mermaid,” the actor replied. “And it’s exciting because I’m a diver myself so I always enjoy going underwater, and I think she’s doing the same thing. Parang mas maganda na nae-explore niya yung beaches natin. Sana one time, we’d be given the chance to dive together. Mas maganda siguro. It’s a good experience.”
Currently, the two stars are featured in competing programs airing on the same time every weekdays: Piolo can be seen in ABS-CBN’s Lobo while Marian is the lead in GMA-7’s Dyesebel. But talks have been going around that there are plans to pair the two together in a major movie project to be produced by Regal Entertainment. Piolo sounds optimistic about the plan.

With all of the award-winning actor’s praises and compliments, how does Marian feel about it?
“Nung nagkatrabaho kami nung pictorial, sobrang maasikaso niya at nakikita ko sa mga mata niyang napakabait niya ding tao,” the young actress said.
