Stranded Thai tourists home safely
September 1, 2008 Twenty-three Shanghai tourists who had been stranded on Thailand’s Phuket Island after protesters shut down the airport last Friday returned to the city today.
Another 10 tourists remain stranded on Phuket.
After a 12-hour bus trip, the 23 arrived at Bangkok airport where they boarded a flight to Shanghai.

A study by British scientists suggests that taking the Pill can change a woman’s taste in men — to those who are genetically less compatible.
The research found that the Pill can alter the type of male scent that women find most attractive, which may in turn affect the kind of men they choose as partners. August 14, 2008 WASHINGTON - The Transportation Security Administration has collected records on thousands of passengers who went to airport checkpoints without identification, adding them to a database of people who violated security laws or were questioned for suspicious behavior.
